Flux Dev — AI image generator

The Flux everyone means by "Flux" — the balanced middle of the family.

Flux Dev is the full, undistilled model that Schnell is a fast approximation of. It follows a prompt considerably more closely: subject counts come out right more often, spatial relationships hold, and a long descriptive prompt gets read to the end rather than skimmed for vibes.

For most illustration and concept work this is the sensible default of the Flux line. It costs eight times what Schnell does and roughly two thirds of Flux Pro, and it is the tier where the family's characteristic look — crisp edges, strong graphic composition — arrives without paying flagship rates.
