Grok Imagine Quality spends longer on each render than the standard tier. The difference shows up in the places extra sampling usually helps — cleaner fine detail, fewer mangled hands and edges, more coherent texture across a large canvas — rather than in a different artistic character. It is the same model lineage thinking harder.
Use it as a finishing pass. The productive pattern is to compose on standard Grok Imagine, keep the prompt and seed that worked, then re-render here once for the version you will actually publish or sell.
Slower, and it will not rescue a weak prompt — a badly composed image rendered more carefully is still badly composed. Fix the prompt on the cheap tier first.
